Circle Dance - Continuing

The circle is a symbol of wholeness and community. We dance a variety of folk and meditative dances to music from many countries, celebrating the seasons, nature, the earth, the diversity of different cultures etc. We enjoy the movement of dance - great for the body, mind
and spirit. Circle dancing places more emphasis on enjoyment and involvement than on accuracy, but also attempts to honour the deeper meaning and cultural context of the dance.

Circle Dance - Beginners

Circle dancing is a blend of folk dance and meditative dance, and suits all those who are reasonably mobile. Women and men are welcome, and no partner is needed. Circle dancing requires no previous dancing experience, and is good for the body, mind and spirit. The dance music comes from many countries, and the dances celebrate the seasons, nature, the earth and the diversity of different cultures etc.
