The nutritional value and safety of our foods will be reviewed. Recent information on the effects of diet on our health as we age - weight, chronic diseases, good and bad fats, sugar, salt, gut microbiome, fasting and superfoods - will be covered in interactive sessions.
MEDITATION & INSPIRATION Friday 9.00am - 11.00am
By allowing the integration of our mind/body/emotions/spirit and tuning into our inner wisdom, we open ourselves up to a profound shift in awareness as we move away from perceptions driven by thought and experience healing and insight through the practice of Meditation and Contemplation.
MINDFUL LIVING - Thursday 12.00noon - 1.30pm
Mindful Living is an eight-week program based on Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program. We cover a variety of practices including everyday mindful awareness of the breath, eating, walking, listening and movement. Paying attention, without judgement. Benefits include greater peace of mind, compassion, gratitude, alert senses and appreciation of each moment. Can help with anxiety and depression, ill health and relationships.
