Archery

The U3A Archery program happens with regional coach Kevin Smith at the Toowoomba Company of Archers Range near Charlton, five kilometres past the airport on the Warrego Highway. Many U3A members, both men and women, have already enjoyed this program on Tuesdays or Thursdays. No, you don't have to be strong or really fit to be able to participate. Learning this beautiful sport happens at your pace.

Croquet Basics for Beginners

Learn the basics of croquet. A game for men and women of all ages.

Gateball

Outdoors and moving - played in teams of 5 - using a mallet (lightweight supplied) to hit your ball through a gate / hoop. Strategy is to keep opposing team off lawn away from gates, therefore not scoring. Games are of half-hour duration.

Golf Croquet

Easy version of croquet, teaching basic mallet skills.

Lawn Bowls - Linsay St

Learn the art of playing lawn bowls. We have a qualified coach and tutor prepared to take a group for lessons. A minimum of six needed for this to proceed. No maximum limit.

Lawn Bowls - Victoria St

Learn to play lawn bowls with a qualified coach in a friendly atmosphere. Bowls are supplied. You will need a hat, water and flat-soled shoes.

Shibashi Qigong

Shibashi is a set of 18 movements or techniques perceived in traditional Chinese medicine to be relaxing, beneficial exercise, and designed to cultivate health and energy throughout the body.

Table Tennis - Advanced

Playing table tennis is an enjoyable way to stay active and alert and requires good skill. Interested people will be entered onto a waiting list as there are only limited vacancies at the moment. We play all year round, regardless of school holidays.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi can help improve fitness, flexibility, relaxation and mental concentration and assist with all aspects of health, therefore allowing you to enjoy your lifestyle. Tai Chi is easy to learn, easy to remember and easy to practise.

Tennis

We enjoy an afternoon of mixed, social tennis. Good fun and healthy exercise. We play all year. Afternoon tea is included.

Ours is a fun-loving group who enjoy walking and taking in our beautiful city and surrounding areas.

Yoga with Ros

Course will be an introduction to Yoga practice with an emphasis on gentle, supported practice and breath awareness to enhance movement and strength and well being.
